Chilli Paneer

Today is day 2 of Blogging Marathon#4. It feels great to be a part of Srivalli's BM.Going ahead with the kids delight, i chose to cook this particular dish as Paneer happens to ba my daughters favourite. I am sure most of the kids would love to have this.Easy to make if you have paneer at hand and tastes much better then what you order outside.I had bookmarked this from Bhagyashri's blog since i had volunteered to try out some of the kids Delight series and she had sent this to Kids Delight-Restaurant style started by Srivalli And hosted by Champa

INGREDIENTS

Paneer 2 cups( cubed)

Corn flour 2 tbsp

All purpose flour 1/2 tbsp

Onion 1 small(sliced)

Green pepper/capsicum 1 medium(sliced)

Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp

Soy sauce 1 tbsp

Tomato puree 1 tbsp

Pepper powder 1/2 tsp

Salt as required

Oil for frying
PREPARATION

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying

Meanwhile in a bowl mix the corn flour, all purpose flour, salt and pepper. Roll the paneer cubes in this so that it coats evenly.(Do not add water)

Deep fry the paneer until they turn brown.Drain and keep aside

In a pan heat 1 tbsp of oil.

Saute the onions, then add the ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell disappears.

Now add the sliced pepper and fry for 2 minutes.

Now add the soy sauce , saute and then add the tomato sauce.Add the necessary salt. Mix well

Now add the fried paneer, saute for a few minutes.

Delicious Chilli paneer is ready for your kid(you too:-) ). Perfect snack!!!!!!!

Bhagyashri this is perfect. Thanks champa and Srivalli . I am thoroughly enjoying this volunteering:-)

  25. Ahh an all time favorite looks way too tempting!!
Regarding your question about evaporated milk- here are the substitutes that can work-

    1. Mix about 3/4 cup of water and 2/3 cup dry milk powder together and use.
    2. You can also use regular milk just take 2 cups and simmer till it reduces to 1 cup.
    Hope that helps.
