HI
As i posted one ladoo recipe this morning, i thought i would do a similar one for day 6of BM by srivalli. This is again done on Kaarthikai.Aval pori is the puffed form of Rice flakes.
INGREDIENTS
Aval Pori 2 cups
Jaggery 1 cup
Water 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Coconut scrapping 1 tbsp
PREPARATION
Clean the Aval -Pori/Beaten rice flakes.Spread it on a plate.
Add the coconut and cardamom powder to this. Mix well.
Boil the jaggery syrup for hard ball consistency as shown here.
Pour this on the aval-pori and mix well.
Allow it to cool a little. If it cools completely, it will harden and you may not be able to make the balls.
Make into balls and shape well.
The procedure is same as shown here
