Besan Ladoo

Hi
For this blogging marathon i decided that i would do ladoo varieties. Well i thought it was very easy and most of the recipes i knew,And i decided that Besan would be my star ingredient today:-)Hmm had besan, sugar , ghee and cardamom powder ready but the exact measurements?????As usual i forgot the measurements, did not have patience to go through the cook books, so what do i do????Haha:-) i am lucky to have a ready reckoner in my family....My sister:-)Call her at any time of the day ..and she is ready with the answer..and so my besan ka ladoo ready for day 3!!!!

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour/Besan 1 cup

Sugar 1 cup

Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Ghee 1/3 cup

PREPARATION

In a pan take the gram flour and the ghee. Mix well.Roast it in medium flame till it turns light brown and the raw smell goes away.Takes nearly 5-7 minutes in low flame.
Transfer it to a plate and let it cool completely. It may look a little slushy at this point

Powder the sugar separately. Mix the cardamom to it.Keep it aside

When the gram flour mixture has completely cooled, add the powdered sugar to this. Now you will see that the mixture turns a little dry.

Rolls into small balls preferably bite sized and enjoy your dessert
