Eggless Chocochip Cookies

Hi
Back to blogging after a weeks holiday!!!!!Cannot believe that we are running Blogging Marathon Five already:-)Time seems to fly.Blogging Marathon started by Srivalli is a great hit among food bloggers. Do look at her blog if you like to join in the next marathon. For this edition of BM i choose to do Colourful Dishes Kids special. So the first post is a cookie loved by most of the kids. This recipe is from Tarla dalal, pretty easy to whip up and bake.
INGREDIENTS

Butter ( at room temperature) 3/4 cup

Sugar(powdered) 3 tbsp

Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp

All purpose flour 1 cup

Rice flour 2 tbsp

Dark chocolate( chopped) 1/2 cup

PREPARATION

In a bowl cream the butter, sugar and the vanilla essence till creamy

Add the flours to it and mix well

Fold in the chopped chocolate and mix well

Now form small balls and flatten them slightly

Arrange them on a greased baking tray a little apart from each other.(size nearly doubles)

Preheat the oven to 160 C

Bake the cookies for 25 to 30 minutes or till they turn a little brown

Cool on a rack and store hem in air tight containers(i doubt if u need to do this......the kids will see to it that it disappears like mine did!!!!)

Check out on the fellow marathoners for a lovely spread of recipes:-)
