Beans Curry In Microwave /Beans Poriyal
Wishing all my readers a very Happy 2012!!!!
After a month long of baking with all purpose flour, sugar, butter...needed abreak from this:-)...at least my oven does..lol!!!So now my microwave takes over. I am starting this new year with a very simply comforting curry which when prepared in a microwave , retains its colour and the flavour is enhanced.
Beans 1/4 kg
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Black Gram Dhal 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
Red chillies 2(broken into small bits)
Coconut scappings 2-3 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Wash and cut the beans into even sized small bits. Chop them as evenly as possible for an uniform cooking.
Cook in MICRO HIGH MODE for 3minutes keeping it open ans mixing it after each minute.
